Cheri Aldrich’s latest exhibit showcases a wide array of interdisciplinary works made from natural and found materials. From driftwood and seaweed to fiber, botanicals, and repurposed objects, her pieces span jewelry, basketry, paper and book arts, assemblages, and more.
Aldrich, a self-taught Newport-based artist, is celebrating her 50th year as a full-time working artist. Her work is deeply inspired by the textures and rhythms of the natural world.
