Día de Los Muertos (DDLM) is a day in the year like no other. This deeply revered Mexican tradition provides a universal opportunity to celebrate our connection to loved ones passed on and the ancestors whose lives allowed ours to happen.

RACE FEES
Register on or before February 28, 2022 and save on top of the early-bird registration!
- DDLMER10 - 10% off if you're a first time participant
- DDLMER15 - 15% off if you have participated in 2021 or 2022
- DDLMER25 - 25% off if you have participated two years of the last three years (2021, 2020 and 2019)
RACE DAY SCHEDULE
- Bib Pickup: 7:00-9:30 AM
- 5 Miler: 8:00 AM
- Huehca Omeyoca Dance: 9:15 AM
- Race briefing: 9:45 AM
- Races start: 10:00 AM
24H, 12H & 6H races will start at 10:00 AM. 12H & 6H will also have a 10:00 PM and 4:00 AM start option.
5 Mile Race
The 5 mile race's actual distance is 4.8 miles or two laps. Participants must finish before 9am. Anyone finishing after 9:00am will be disqualified. Please do not register unless you can finish before 9:00 am.
COURSE
The course is not certified but it was measured with a measuring wheel. The official distance 3,856 or approx. 2.40 miles. We'll be using 3,856 meters for the official results. It's a single loop of mixed trails and pavement. For more detailed info about the course see the course map page.

RACE LOCATION & PARKING
The race is held at the South Beach State Park in Newport, OR located just south of the Yaquina Bay Bridge.
There's plenty of free parking in the Day Use Parking lot. You'll have to walk approx. 800ft from the parking lot to get to the starting line. If you have items to drop off at the starting line, follow directions to the Nine Hole Disc Golf Course. No parking is allowed at the Nice Hole Disc Golf Course. You must drive back and park at the Day Use Parking lot.
AWARDS/PRIZES WINNERS
The overall male and female winner from each race will receive an award.
BELT BUCKLE
All finishers who complete 100 or 50 miles will receive a 50 Mile or 100 Mile Belt Buckle. Since our race is still small and new it's tough to guesstimate how many runners will complete 100 or 50 miles so we'll have the belt buckles made after the race and they will be mailed to you.
FINISHER MEDAL
All participants who complete a minimun of 26.2 miles will also receive a finisher medal
