Learn how to master the art of nighttime photography in this hands-on two-evening workshop led by local artist and astrophotographer Jeremy Likness. You may be surprised to learn that in addition to the moon, meteors, planets, and the Milky Way, it is possible to photograph distant regions of colorful radioactive dust called “nebulae” and even galaxies with your camera!
This course will cover everything you need to know to plan, take, polish, and present beautiful pictures of nighttime targets. Jeremy will cover specific strategies for: galaxies, meteors, nebulae, the Milky Way, the moon, wide angle star fields, star trails, time-lapse planetariums, planets, and even the sun!
