Plant a seed, read, and let the music grow! The Newport Public Library is excited to welcome back Kathy Redwine and Friends for a special outdoor concert as part of the Newport Public Library Music Series.
Join us on Saturday, August 8, 2026, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Literacy Park, located next to the library at 35 NW Nye Street, for an afternoon of live music, community, and summer fun. Inspired by this year's Summer Reading theme, Plant a Seed, Read, this free concert celebrates the many ways libraries help ideas, creativity, and community flourish.
Whether you're enjoying a good book, discovering new music, or spending time with family and friends, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
