    Join the Shop Local Newport REWARDS PROGRAM November 20 – December 31, 2025 Discover Newport is inviting local retailers and restaurants to participate in the Shop Local Newport Holiday Rewards Program , designed to encourage residents and visitors to shop, dine, and give locally this holiday season. Sign Up How It Works Shoppers earn a $10 voucher for every $100 they spend at participating businesses (Two $10 voucher limit per person). Receipts can be combined. Shoppers bring their receipts dated between November 20 and December 31 to the Newport Visitor Center between November 20 and December 31 to receive their $10 voucher per $100 spent (Two $10 voucher limit per person). Vouchers can be redeemed at participating businesses through March 2, 2026 . Businesses will be reimbursed in full by Discover Newport for all redeemed vouchers. Businesses can bring redeemed vouchers by the Visitor Center for redemption through April 1, 2026. Newport Visitor Center: 555 SW Coast Hwy Newport, OR 97365 Directions Join Us! Yaquina Head Outstanding Natural Area extends out from the Oregon coast, one mile into the Pacific Ocean. Standing 93 feet tall at the westernmost point of the basalt headland, the lighthouse has been a bright beacon of the night, guiding ships and their supplies along the west coast since the light was first lit on August 20, 1873. The Yaquina Bay State Recreation Site Yaquina Bay State Park is located in Newport at the north end of Yaquina Bay near its outlet to the Pacific Ocean.
